INCREASE IN MEMBERS

The number of St John personnel who are arriving at Turangi fpom other centres are forming a body ! able to cope with the growing needs of the town. Reporting this to the Taupo Borough Council, the Taupo member of the Waikato Hospital Board, Mr J. W. Birnie, said the brigade movement at Turangi can be assured that the board will give all possible assistance when required. He recorded his appreciation of the medical service already given in the area by the resident practitioner, Dr H. R, Gibson. He said the board was given to understand that another practi- ' tioner would be established at Turangi in the near future.
