Committee Assists Band

Mothers and wives of members in the Taupo Citizens Silver Band are organised into a committee which gives full support to the movement. Recently the committee raised over £100 for the purchase of two comets, and this was only the latest of a series of projects designed to raise money for the betterment of the band. After- two more instruments have been purchased the band will have a complete set of new equipment, The committee has organised a raffle for this purpose, the prize for which is an electric heater.
