Roberts, of Hawera, the ehib's lionorary arehiteet, is preparing pl'ans for alterations. It is the intention of the eluh to make the rooms as modern as possible, and it is expeeted that when flnislied 1 hey will be a featnre iu the town, aud inueh appreeiated by elub members. A spokesman for the eluh told the Times this week that the Repartment of Internal Affairs had been most cooperative, aud had undertaken to mahe severn! improveihents to facilities. Kihee the lake is now at low level, it is expeeted that work will begln in the near future.
