TRAVEL MEN COMING TO TAUPO
The Chamber of Commerce has received a letter l'rom tlie Governmeut Tourist and Puhlieity Department, saying that eight senior managers of travel Imreaux in New Zealand will arrive at Taupo from Wairakei during the iirst week in August. They are due to leave here on August 8 for Tokaanu. The object of the tour, it was stated, was to refresh the managers upon the facilities and seenic att raetions at the various plaees they visit. Aceording to the letter, they would welcome the opporfunity of meeting hotel managers, transport operators, and all otliers interested in the tourist trade. The publie relations committee of the Chamber will be in toucli with them.
