Sealing Expenditure to Date
Cr C. J. Vedder asked at the Council meeting on Novemuer 2 whether it were possible to get the expenditure on the tarsealing scheme in the Borough to date. The Mayor said the information could be presented at at the next Council meeting. In reply to Cr K. E. Young, the Mayor gave details of the delay in commencement of delivery of sealing chips from Tapper's quarry at Atiamuri, and said that for t.he first. sealing coat thev would have to nse Taupo grit from the Five Mile quarry on the Waitahanui Road.
