As reported in the Taupo Times recently, the impending transfer to Christchurch of Miss T. M. Story, and consisting of a painting by a loeal artist, Dot Coley. Following the presentation, donations continued to come in, and as a result it was decided to supplement the original gift with a picnic case and a Ronson lighter. On these being handed to Miss McMillan she said she wished to express her thanks to all whose kind thoughts bad prompted the presentations, and regretted that it had not been possible for her to thank everybody personally.
