BUILDING PERMITS
A report presented at the Borough Oouncil meeting on September 21, by the Building Inspector, Mr G. M. Orickett, stated that 19 applications for building permits had been approved for the month ended September 14, the total estimated value being £19,734. Included in the list were five residences, ranging in size from 520 square feet to 1242 square feet and from £1250 to £3000 in estimated value. Other buildings comprised nine additions to existing buildings, timber mill staff quarters, two garages, a store-room, llats, and service station alterations.
