WORK OF AMBULANCE BRIGADE

The Taupo St. John Ambulance Brigade ambulance made nine t'rips to Rotorua during August, with eight medical cases and one accident case. Mileage totalled 899, involving 38i hours of duty. A film evening, at which Mr A. Kennedy, Field Officer, dealt with first aid and accident prevention, was much appreciated by an attendance of 40. Mr E. F. Wright, treasurer of the local St. John Ambulance Association, presented a travelling rug to Mr Kennedy in recognition of his work for the Brigade. A course of First Aid lectures by Dr D. A. Richards has just been completed. Within the next few weeks a course of Home Nursing lectures will commence, and all wishing to attend should communicate with Mrs Grace Booth.
