NEW FIRE ENGINE
The new Landrover fire engine for the Taupo Volunteer Fire Brigade reached Taupo on Monday evening 1' last and was handed over to the Brigade. The Brigade intend to give a public demonstration of the new machine to-morrow week, Saturday, ; September 24. This will take place ; at the Wharf, Taupo, at 11 a.m., and : the Brigade cordially invites the ' pub- ■ lic of Tauno to be present.
