BALANCE OF SEALING LOAN SECURED
The Mayor, Mr J. E- Story, reports that advice has been received from the National Provident Fund Board that it will provide the balance of £7000 still required to fill the Councirs £10,000 Street Sealing Loan. As reported previously, an amount of £3000 toward the loan had been arranged with the State Fire Officer. In view of the difficulties being experienced by local authorities in securing loan moneys at the present time, the Mayor expressed his satisfaction at the Board's advice.
