BOY BADLY INJURED
Maui Hurae, aged 16, employed in Messrs Tuck Bros.' pine mill, was badly injured on Tuesday morning last, when working on the Pacific carriage at the mill. He had just stepped off the carriage when he slipped and bis foot was caught between the carriage and the rollers, receiving severe injuries. The injured bov was attended by Dr A. Richmond Martin, and taken to Rotorua Hospital in the Taupo St. John Ambulance Brigade's ambulance.
