GOLF NOTES

Recent rain has made for good scoring conditions at the Taupo Golf Club's- course in recent weeks. On May 7 a Stableford was won by Gordon Sutherland with 35 points, next best scorers being E. Pearse 33, and E. Ryan 32. On May 14 the Senior-Junior Fourball Bogey was won by A. Graham and G. Thomas with the good score of 6 up. G. Barlow and H. Hullten and G. Foote and F. McKean were second equal, 5 up. Tomorrow, Saturday, May 21, a medal round will be played.
