Ladies' Competitions
On Thursday, May 5, the ladies played in the Aotea Roa Cup and Coronation medal competitions. These are played throughout New Zealand during the first week of May, the Aotea Roa Cup being competed for by all grades,- and the Coronation medal by senior only. The following scores were the best returned: Mrs Fearn, 94-22-72; Mrs Barrell, 105-31-74; Miss Branson, 85-[10-75; Mrs Bennett, 105-30-75; Mrs Nelson, 107-30-77; Mrs Young, 99-20-79. Ladies Golf Union and Forster Trophy Medals were played on Thursday, May 12, when the best scores returned were those by Mrs I. B. Logan, 94-22-72; Mrs Nelson, 102-30-72; Miss Branson, 85-10-75; Mrs Mclsaac, 109-32-77.
