DROP IN BUILDING FIGURES
A report by Mr G. M. Crickett, Building Inspector, presented to the Borough Council meeting of April 20, showed a decline in building permits issued. For the month ending- April 13, ten sets of plans and specifications only had been approved, the total estimated value of the buildings being £5,620/15/-. The buildings included five additions, estimated values ranging from £500 to £20; three dwellings valued at from £1500 to £930; and two garages.
