MAORI BIRTHRATE
SECOND HIGHEST IN WORLD According to a report on vital statistics issued by the Census and Statistics Department, U.S.A., the Maori birthrate last year was the second highest in thqs world. Costa Rica, with a birthrate of 54 per thousand, has the highest known, followed by the Maori birthrate of 44.5 per thousand.
