Ambulance Brigade Benefit.
A letter to the Council from the Taupo St. John Ambulance Brigade stated that the Rugby Sub-union was donating to them all football gate takings at the Taupo football ground on! Saturday, August 7, and asking whether the Council would waive deduction of the ten per cent usually paid to it. Cr Morris moved, seconded by Cr Stanley, that the request be granted, the motion being passed without dissent. The letter stated th&t the proceeds would be used by the Brigade to purchase medical supplies and equipment,
