THIRD GRADE RUGBY
UNITED DEFEAT TAUPO In the Third Grade competition United defeated Taupo last Saturday by 9—8, with three tries, none converted, to Taupo's two tries, one converted. The game was a scrappy one neither team managing to I show constructive football. Tries I were scored for United by Wineera and Tahau in the first half, and by D. Rameka in the second half. John Kelletf and Drummond scored tries for Taupo, Brian Sherwood adding the extra points to one of them.
