SHOP HOLIDAYS AT XMAS AMB NEW YEAR

The following hours will be observed by all shops in Taupo during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, following a recommendation by the Taupo Business-

men s Assoeiation to its member: Christmas Eve. — Shops remain open until 8.30 p.m. Christmas Holidays.— Shops close on Friday, reopening at the usual time on Monday December 28th. New Year's Eve.— Shops remain open until 8.30 p.m. New Year Holidays.— Shops close on Friday, reopening at the usual time on Monday, January 4th. Milk Bars, Restaurants. The milk bars, tea rooms, and restaurants in Taupo will in general be open over the holiday periods for their usual daily hours, except on Christmas Day, and on Saturday January 2nd, the day of the Civic Reception to Her Majesty the Queen, and the Duke of Edinburgh, in Rotorua. The following hours will be observed on the two days mentioned. Mid-Island Milk Bar and Restaurant, open Christmas Day except between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., usual hours on January 2nd. Rainbow! Grill Rooms and Tongariro Dining Rooms, open as usual. Huia Milkl Bar, open Christmas Day between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. only, and on January 2nd between 10 a.m. and 12 noon only. Christopher Robin Tearooms, Christmas Day open only between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., January 2nd closed all day.
