WESTMINSTER ABBEY APPEAL
The Taupo Tov/n Board's subscription list for the Westminster Abbe.y Appeal Fund is to close at the end of this month. Launched in Britain by Sir Winston Churchill, the Appeal was sponsored in New Zealand by | the Prime Minister, Mr Holland, and I Ihe Leader of the Opposition, Mr Nash, and its purpose is to provide ! lunds for repair and upkeep of the j Abbey.
