REP. HONOURS FOR RAY YOUNG

Plays For Manawata Mr R. K. Young, son of Mr and Mrs K. E. Young, Taupo, is making a name for himself in Rugby circles in the Mana wa tu. We note from the Dominion that playing for Kaitoa Club at Palmerston North he scored a try against Varsity. He was chosen to play in the Centurions team against Wellington at Athletic Pafk on June 2nd., the team including three North Island reps., one All Black, and two Manawata reps. He was also to play in the Manawatu representative teani against Wellington on June lst. Ray is playing as breakaway. Manawatu defeated Wellington last year by 12 - nil.
