Gay Coronation Display By Saturday last Tongariro Street had gaineci a gayly festive appearance in honour of the Coronation. Business premises eontained decorations of various sorts, both in their windows and in the shops themselves, many featuring pictur'es of Her Majesty or representations of the Crown and the Royal Arms. Pennants in the national colours had been strung aeross the street at intersections thi'cughout its length, together with festoons of electric lights. Stores and shops in other parts of the town area were similarly decorated, as were the Town Board Offices, and the over-all effect was statisfaetorily symbolic of the spirit of Coronation rejoicing.
