marv bryant nursery At the last meeting of the Waikato Hospital Board a circular was handed to all members giving information with regard to the lYIary Bryant Residential Nursery, Hamilton, and members were requested to make known in the districts they represented facts as to the services available at the Nursery. The Nursery is not a hospital for the sick, nor is it for babies in need of skilled surgical or medical treatment. Children of 4 to 24 Months The Mary Bryant Residential Nursery cares for children hetween the ages of four months and twentyfour months, where it is necessarv for the children to be separated from their mothers through sickness,maternity calls, operations or other causes. The Nursery is adequately staffed to give the babies the very best of attention and is fully equipped with every modern convenience and comfort. The only condi« tions governing admission are a recommendation from a medical practitioner and an assurance that the child is not suffering from nor in contact with any contagious disease, and particularly from pedi^ culosis and impetigo. No Charges Nor Donations The Mary Bryant Residential Nursery is supported entirely by the Mary Bryant Trustees and donations are not accepted nor are charges made. Parents need not feel any embarrassment in taking advantage of the services offered. The Nursery is conducted by a qualifiecl staff and the children are treated as guests would be in our homes. A medical officer has been apointed to be in attendance at the Home if necessarv, Arranging For Admission Taupo is within the Waikato Hospital Board District and every mother within that district is entitled to the privileges generously provided by the Mary Bryant Trustees at the Residential Nursery, Mr Charles Andrews, who is the member of the Waikato Hospital Board representing the Taupo district, will use every endeavour to assist any mother, wishing to obtain admission for her child, in the matter of dates for entry to the home, transport, etc. Mr Andrews' address is Clayton Road, Rotorua, and his telephone number is 361U Rotorua.
