BRITISH FEATURE FOR SATURDAY The film fare to be presented at the Majestic Theatre, Taupo, this w)eek includes an M.G/M. jfeature, "The Asphalt Jungle" starring Sterling Ilayden and -Louis Galburn in a thriiler described as a masterpieoe of its kind. This is scheduled for screening tonight (Wednesday). The Friday star attraction is a Paramount production "Tripoli," with Maureen O'Hara and John Payne in the leading roles. This technicolour feature is an echo of a war by the United States Navy on pirates who infested the Barbary Coast away back in 1805. It makes a good story, with plenty of thrills. Jean Simmons and Dirk Bogarde are the stars of the A. J. Rank picture (British Empire Films), entiled uSo liong at the Fair," scheduled as Saturday's big feature. The back ground of the story is the Paris World Fair, and the story is built upon the theme of the old song "0 Dear What Can the Matter Be, Johnny's So long at the fair.,y The thing is well done. The film will also be at Te Rangi-ita on Monday.
