ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE

A preliminary first aid examination under the St. John Amoulance Ejrigade was condfucted by Dr D. A. Richards last Wednesday, October 8th. The following boys passed: — Peter Smith, Brian Beale, Kerry Baker, Ian George, Hendon Reid, Peter Birnie, James Robertson, John Baker, Allan Reading. The Cadet Division is in full swing now that the above boys have passed their exam. It is lioped that this is just the beginning. All boys aged eleven or over a re welcome to join the Cadets and we expect that before long Taupo will have a Cadet Division strong in numbers, efficiency and keenness. In last week's report Miss E. Rickit's name v/as inadvertently omitted as having passed re-examination in First Aid and Home Nursing.
