MAJESTIC THEATRE
Progfammes at the Majestic Theatre this week present two thrillers and the M.G.M. musical show in Technieolor, "Nancy Goes to Rio." Tonight's (Wednesday) feature is an Allied Artists' production, "Southside 1-?1000," in which counterfeit notes, gansters, police, and Secret Service men mix it in a thriiling story. The stars are Don De Fore, Audrea King, George Tobias and Barry Kelley. "The Great Missouri Raid," for presentation on Friday, combines drama, romance, and thrills in feuds •and vendettas which darkened the ;affcermath of the American Civil War. Wendell Cprey, Macdonald Carey, and Ward Bond have the star roles in this Paramount Technieolor. The bigr feature for Saturday's show is "Nancy Goes to Kio," starring Jane Powell, Ann Sothern, Barry Suilivan, and Carmen Miranda, in a very special musical exfravagansa in Technieolor from the M.GJVL studios. It is describeu as "a musical spree." i Accor'ding to present arrange ments, the programme feature for Wednesday, September 24th is a Warner Technieolor, "Colt 45," starring Randolph Scott and Ruth Roman.
