NAPIER MURDER TRIAL
Morehu Sentenced To Death Robert Morehu, labourer, aged 181, of Hatepe, has been found guilty of the murder of James Thomas Hawkins, aged 90, at Napier, and sentenced to de^th. The trial, at the Napier Supreme Court before Mr Justiee Hutchinson, lasted five days, and the jury after a retirement of just| over two hours returned a verdict of guilty ' It is reported that a petition for clemency has been lodged on behalf of Mbrphu.
