t At a meeting of the committee of the Taupo Horticultural and Beautifying Society on July 17^ there were present the patron, Dr W. H. Thomas; president, Mr J. D. Swan, O.B.E., J.P.; vice-president, Mr €. F. Bolbeck; past-president, Mr L. Stephenson; the honorary secretary, Mr R. P. Beale; show secretary, Mrs J. W. Peart. !The report and balan^e sheet was received, and after discussion was forwarded to the honorary auditor, Mr H. Duthie, for audit before being placed before the general meeting. Various alterations to the schedule, were suggested and these are to be submitted to the annual general meeting to be held in Rickits Hall on Thursday morning, July 24, at 10.45 a.m. The agenda for the general meeting includes the presidents report and balance sheet; election of officers and executive; election of general committee; date of Spring Show; appointment of judges; alterations to schedule; and general.
