TAUPO GOLF CLUB

A mixed fourball bogey match was played on Sunday, May 25, when partners and opponents were drawn. Heavy rain and colcl wind made con'^ ditions hard, but a good score of 4 up on bogey was returned by Mrs Hulten and Mr A. Graham. The men who were not drawn in the mixed fourball, had their own match, which was won by R. K. Douglas and E. Smith with a score of 3 down on bogey. The ladies played a medal round on Thursday, May 29th, but owing to the bad weather only four finished the vound. Scores: Mrs Young and Mrs Colbeck each 77 net; Mrs Cheal 81 net. On Sunday, June 8th a team of 12 men will go to Rotorua to play a friendly game against the Rotorua team.
