THE BOY SCOUTS.
The Boy Scouts movement in Taupo rather lapsed during the war years, and is more or less in a state i of susnended animation. A systematic effort is now in tram to revlve it and enrol recruits. An immediate requirement is a duly qualified Scoutmaster, and it is hoped that a satisfactory arrangement in that direction wll be made at an early date. As regards this and other executive positions in the troop, details and the names »of-the officers will be published in our columns when these are available. i 4 The S^out Movement, Scouts and Girl Guides is strictly undenominational. The ranks are open to all, and recruits will be weicomed. The training is practical, character-form-ing, and in all respects direeted to making the young people good and useful citizens.
