April a First Aid Examination was conducted by Dr Jean West in Rickit's Hall. The following were passed: — Re-examinees: — Messrs' A. Kennedy, H. D. Franklin, L. E. Reid, L. A. Edlin, G. M. Crickett. Initial F. A. Examinees: — Mrs B. Kennedy, Mrs A. Burge, Mrs J. How, Mrs D. Coley, Miss M. Lowery, Miss R. Anchor, Miss F. Shugar, Miss N. Fulljames, Messrs R. E. How, H. Holm, J. C. Kellett. It is hoped to start a new course of "Home Nursing" lectures soon, for the Nursing Division and for any men who want to take the lectures also. The success of the Taupo Ambulance Brigade depends upon the number of people who take the First Aid lectures and join the Brigade. Anyone interested, man or woman, is very welcome.
