Angling conditions in Motuopa Bay are reported to be satisfactory, and there is good fishing in the Waiotaka and Waimarino streams. Master Erroll Tannet-,s of Longburn caught and llilb. brown trout on the fly on March 28 last. Mr Percy Bismark caught a limit bag, on March 30. Guests at Motuopa Lodge: — Mr and Mrs R. Tanner and Mr and Mrs J. Smile, of Palmerston North; Mr J. D. Cochrane, Auckland; Mr and Mrs P. L. Wickham, and if^mily, Makirikiri, Wanganui; Messrs T. Stubbs, K Garner and W. Holt, Palmerston North; I. Bell, Tkihape; T. Ah Chee, N. Kent, ' Auckland; Messrs H. Van Staveren, Stan. Owen and party, Wellington. The following guests were expected for Easter: — Mr and Mrs W. Bamford, Wellington; Mr and Mrs Cliifax and party, Palmerston North; Messrs H. Cook and W. Weenink,, Mr and Mrs Penrose and son, Mr M. Archibald, Mr E. S.
