ANZAC DAY

At the monthly committee meeting of the Taupo R.S.A. held on March 11th. the Anzac Day ceremony was discussed and the question was , raised as to whether 11 a.m. or the usual 2.30 p.m. was the most suitable time for the observance. It was decided to invite representatives from the Town Board, St, John Ambulance, School Committee, Fire Brigade, and Women's Institute.s to attend the nc-xt committee meeting on Apiil 8th. in order that the members of these bodies may express their views encl co-operate generally in the ceremony.
