CLEAR YOUR FRONTAGES

In preparation for the reticulation of the Taupo district for the bistribution of electric current it is desirable and important that propertyowners should make a systematic efLort to clear their road frontages at an early date. It is obvious that unless this is done the task of those who are to put the poles and wiring in position will be mueh more difficult and tedius. Furthermore, show progress will add to the cost. The Town Board has legal authority to compel property-owners to clear their frontages, but, says the chairman of the board, Mr Story, it would very much prefer that people would readily comply in a spirit of goodwill and co-operation, than have them act under compulsion.
