MORRINSVILLE
The Methodist Sunday School Anniversary services held here on Sunday, were largely attended. The Church was neatly decorated with flowers and greenery. The singing of the children under the conductorship of Mr H. R. Turnbull was a feature of the services. Miss Ollerinshaw sang a solo at the morning and evening service, and Miss Warren at the afternoon service. The Rev Reed preached morning and evening and Mr Rushton in the afternoon. During the afternoon prizes were presented by Mrs W. S. Allen, who also donated a number of Bibles to the members of the Bible Class, and presented each Sunday School teacher with a handsome book. Despite the increased accommodation the Church was well filled. The picnic in connection with the Sunday School will be held at Annandale on Wednesday, 22nd December, when all scholars and their friends are invited to be present.
