Ngarua Items.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) I would like if your “ Own ” could send along some startling news, but everything is going along so smoothly and uneventually that the poor beggar can’t, seeing that prevarication is out of hisfline. We are having a record 'supply to our local creamery, there being three new suppliers this year. The settlers are intelligently improving their herds by importing the best bulls procurable; Mr Jas. McDonald having bought a young pure bred Shorthorn bull, and Mr Hanna a pure bred Jersey bull. These should leave their mark, and materially improve the quality of the milking strains in the district.
