Volunteer Notes
Sergt.-Major W. Maingay, one of the original members of the Piako Mounted Rifles, has presented the Company with a handsome Challenge Shield, which is at present on view in Jackson’s Arcade. The Shield will be competed for by the Matamata, Morrinsville, Waitoa and Te Aroha troops. The first match takes plaoe at Te Aroha early next month.
