Fire Brigade Concert.

What promises to be the most successful concert of the season is that to be held in the Public Ball on Wednesday next, 22nd September, under the auspicies of the Te Aroha Fire Brigade. A glance at the programme will show that the Brigade have prepared a first-class evening’s entertainment, and several new faces will make their bow to a Te Aroha audience. The Te Aroha Brass Quartette, consisting of Ist and 2nd Cornet, Tenor Sax Horn, and Euphonium should be somewhat of a novelty, and the orchestral items, consisting of piano, 2 violins, flute and cornet are always pleasing and well rendered. All the other well-known favourites will also render items. Mrs Blair and Miss A. Stanley are the accompanists. The proceeds of the Concert are to be devoted to improving the Domain reserve as a sports ground. A bumper house should greet the fireman in their effort in making the town atractive.
