Peary to Visit South Pole

The Labrador mail boat reports that Commander Peary and Captain Bartlett, master of the Roosevelt, have decided to make an expedition to the South Pole, and that they have already collected furs and other equipment. The Daily Mail’s New York correspondent says that Dr Cook will get a magnificent reception, largely owing to Commander Peary’s reiterated denunciation. * . ~. , The New York Herald is publish*' ing Dr Cook’sdetailed account, which is graphically written.
