MUSICAL EXAMINATION.
Mr Fredkric Cliffe, the Examiner sent out by the Associated Board of the Royal Academy and Eoyal College of Music, London, 'VV? 1 airive in Te Aroha an Wednesday, the 22nd inst., when he will hold the first annual examination at the Convent High School, which has been appointed a centre for the candidates from Thames, Hamilton, Waibi and Paeroa. Several candidates for the various grades will be examined. when so much importance is attached to certificates and diplomas, it is a grpat advantage to have such an examination in Te Aroha, so that parents who are anxious that their children should secure such certificates jfpoip institutions that are recognised as standards the whole world over, are not obliged to send them to other centres, and the Sisters in the local Convent are to be congratulated on the progressive spirit they display in this as in all other educational matters.
