Teams representing Paeroa and Kavangahake School Cadets respectively, uiet at the rifle range, Paeroa, to decide which of the companies was to send a team to Te Aroha next month, when it will be decided which of tho Ohinerauri companies will have the honour of the holding tho Ohiuemnri Battalion challenge shield for the first term. The two teams were fairly well matched, Paeroa winning after a keen and interesting contest by the small margin of 15 points.
