Mr Thos. Taylor, in responding to the toast, thanked all present for their hearty good wishes. He bad lived a good many years over the allotted span of life. The last twentj r -eight years in this district he had always endeavoured to do his duty, ami recited a vei y appropriate poem “ Never say Fail ” vdiioh W’as heartily applauded.
