Compulsory Military Training.

In a’l probability the citizens of Te Aroha will be given the opportunity at an early date of discussing the burning question of compulsory military training. Cert-iin enthusiastic supporters of compulsory training are obtaining signatures to a petition addressed to the Mayor and requesting him to call a public meeting to discuss the matter. A number of prominent citizens have already signed the petition. An effort is being made to induce Mr McNab to deliver an address in Te Aroha in exp’ai'ation of his views, and it is likely that a branch of the Defence League will be established.
