Waihon School Committee.

TllE ordinary meeting of the above took place in the school-house on Wednesday evening last. Present: Mr T. Borrie (Chairman), Messrs T. Farmer, T. Morrow, D. Borrie, andH. O. Cooper (Becret iry.) A letter from the head teacher re Rifle Range was dealt with, and it was de cided that the Committee visit the place and get it into order at once. There was also some talk of starting a rifle club. Accounts.—For school cleaning, £1 14s Sd ; stationery, etc., £1 Is 8d ; were passed for payment. The Secretary stated up to the present the books had mot been received from the auditor, although they hive bsen away some six weeks. The usual vote of thanks brought the meeting to a close,
