TENDERS ACCEPTED. The usual monthly meeting of the Ohinemuri C rnnty Couucil was held last Thursday, 4th. Besides the Chairman (Mr Grace) members presedt were Messrs Strange, Lloyd, Marrinan. Franklin, Laughlin, Corbett, Crosby, and Nathan. The minutes of the previous ordinary meeting, also the minutes of a special meetiug were duly read and confilmed : The following tenders were accepted : Contract No. 347—Improving track from Golden Cross to Marototo : M Goonan, £42.

Contract 348—Reforming and metalling near Cadmau’s Road, Paeroa: W. Emmett, 17 chains 15yds, £IOO. Contract 349—Suppiy and erection of bridge over Peel’s Creek, Marototo Road: Kennedy and Taylor, £l7l. Contract 350—Cutting off points aud improving hill track to Karangahake : F. Butler, £176. Contract 351 —Re-forming and metalling Jubilee Low Level Road, Waite kauri: E. Bain, 251 chains, £IOO. Contract 352—Reforming and gravelling Netherton to Turua Road, Bagnall Bros. 61£ chains, £3OO. Contract 353—Re-forming and metalling Poland Road, Waikino : E. Bain, 24 chains, £IOO. Contract 354—Forming a portion of Victoria Road, Waikino : P. Treanor, £76 Is 6d.

Contract 355 —Forming and improving Waitekauri Hill Track : J. Campbell, £54 IQs.

Contract 356—Forming a portion of Dominion mine track : F. McCormick, 108 chains, £97. Contract 358—Re-forming and metalling a portion'of Waitawheta Road :E. Bain, chains, £IOO 10s. Contract 359—Supply and delivery of gravel on Netherton Road, between Creamery and Puke : B ignall Bros, 480 yards, £2OO

Contract 360 —Re-forming and metalling road from Kaimanawa to Hikutaia Bridge : W. Emmett, £248 12s 6d.

It was decided to call fresh tenders for Contract 357, Forming Wiseman’s Road and building bridges, Waitow It was also decided to accept the lowest tender for Contract No 361, Improving and clearing main outfall drain Komata North Road, provided settlers pay £SO, their promised contribution, within a week.
