Cricket.

A Cricket Club is to be started in Waiorongomai shortly, and although we have no Dr. Graces or Victor Trumpers amongst us, still, I think with a little practice our boys will be able to stand up against the more experienced “ weilders of the willow ” and it is to be expected that some good games will result when they meet the country teams. It is a pity that the young men of Te Aroha should act as dilitary to wards this “ kins of sport” pastime, and it is to be hoped that they will yet take a leaf from our (score) book and so get together an eleven, in which case more matches would result.
