Waiorongomai Notes.
OBITUARY. (Own Correspondent.) j It is with deep regret that I have to chronicle the death of Mr James De Courcy Young, eldest son of Mrs D. K. Young, which took place at Cambridge on Thursday last. The deceased who was greatly respected by all wlo knew him, was 30 years of age and had been ailing for some time. By his kindly actions and genial manner he had made many friends, not only in Waiorongomai and surrounding district, but also throughout the Coromandel Peninsula, where he had held many responsible positions as Battery Manager, etc Great sympathy is felt for the widowed mother and family in their hour of trouble. The cortege which left the Te Aroha Rai.way Station at 3.30 o’clock was followed by a large number of deceased’s friends and relations, who paid their last respects to one who had been a true friend and a loving son.
