SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL SHOW.
The entries received for the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s seventeenth annual show to be held at the Claudelands grounds oh Wednesday and Thursday, 11th and 12th November, are most satisfactory, as will be seen from the statement given below. In almost all the classes there is an increase from last year when the total reached 1470, an increase of over 500 on the previous year. The total this year is 1675, the numbers in the various classes being as follows : Military 10 Draughts 118 Light Horses and Comp. ... 610 Cattle 196 Sheep 284 Pigs 50 Dogs 4 47 Judging 7 Wood chop 11 Home Industries 289 Ladies’ Needlework 53 Total ... 1675 Everything points to the coming show as being the most successful yet held. In all departments improvements have been effected and these will be appreciat ed by both the public and exhibitors. Exce.lent train services have been arranged, and all that is now required is fine weather for the llth and 12th.
