Morrinsville.
—Pickett’s Boarding-house —
This popular house has changed hands, Mrs Lepron takes charge as from Monday next, 12th Oct. Mrs Pickett is givingj a farewell social on Thursday evening next. During Mr mid Mrs Pickett’s long residence in this district they make many friends, and they wul be much missed from the old place. Mr Pickett will be devoting the whole of his time to his ever increasing grocery and provision business. —The Tahuna Road —
I understood a petition is in circulation to the Minister of Internal Affairs, drawing his attention to the _ inadequate amount, voted for MorrinsviUe-Tahuna Road. The amount voted would not do much more than make the approaches to one of the bridges.
