Disastrous Floods.

2,000 LIVES LOST.

. Constantinople, July 19. Disastrous floods have occurred at Tokat, in Asia Minor. A heavy rainfall brought on the flood with such appalling suddenness that two thousand were drowned before they could escape from tho torrents which flooded the greater part of the town. The victims included three hundred who were incarcerated in prison and five hundred army recruits who were assembled in the courtyard of the Government House. Great damage was done to property in and around the town.
