The Tauranga Seat.
SOCIAL TO MR J. A. .YOUNG
The settlers of Waharoa, under the auspices of the local branch of the Liberal and Labour Federation of New Zealand, tendered a public social to Mr J. A. Young, in honour of his candidature for the Tauranga seat. The proceedings were of the most enthusiastic character, and the following resolution was unanimously carried This assemblage of Waharoa settlers and residents offers Mr j. A. Young their congratulations on his candidature for the Taurang i seat, and considers it would be in tn best interests of the electorate to have him in Parliament as their representative, and further desires to assure him that their sincerest hope is that he will ’merge from the contest as the member for the district.
